For one Azerothian race you see in the Shadowlands you should see thousands other new races we've never met before. But M+ has been really fun, and gearing and a lot of the pain points have been removed for me. I think a lot of people were (rightfully so) dogpiling blizzard for the lawsuit which happened around shadowlands time. I think Shadowlands is just the continuation of BFA, if Shadowlands is bad, so was BFA (lol demolisher burns the World Tree, lol HONOR, lol Nathanos solo Malfurion and Tyrande), but I seldom see anyone say people left BFA because of the story. The focus is still going Action Movies & Series; Animated Movies & Series; Comedy Movies & Series; Crime, Mystery, & Thriller Movies & Series; Documentary Movies & Series; Drama Movies & Series Yeah, I don't think that it was a good idea or that the story of Titans 2. 5 hours a night since release because the game is just too good now. There's just nothing like Demon Hunters or Allied races to get me hyped when we don't have much substance for the rest of the expansion yet, but that doesn't mean it's going to be bad or good as an expansion anyway, as allied races showed. They don't survive any sort of pulls that Druid, BDK or Paladin can't do with less CDs, they don't bring the damage that those 3 classes bring, Monk and VDH simply kite better and bring group buffs as well. Time is running out, fast. I had so much fun in all of them with friends, and I've even enjoyed quite a bit of shadowlands. Of course there are bugs but are mostly minor they get fixed by reloging or after a server restart. Is it doable? Maybe. It's a tightly controlled amusement park ride that doesn't let you fall out or go to fast, it's fun but brief, and at the end you have to go wait a week in line in order to ride it again. Literally nobody thinks the First Ones are cool and there isn't the same magic with them as you'd find in say, doing your first Uldaman run back in classic WoW, or going to Ulduar in wotlk. The honeymoon phase is always there because the early content is nearly always great, even if people weren't huge fans of the overall choice of theme for the shadowlands expansion. I’d say about 20 hours in I’ve made some good progress on my character via covenant storyline and the main storyline. Legion/BFA spriest problem is that void form led to multiplicative scaling which is why shadow was so hard to balance and felt terrible until you had all your pieces. Should I follow the quest chain of a specific timeline expansion or should I just do the Shadowlands questline no matter which timeline I'm in before I get to the Dragonflight questline? Fire mages have extremely good aoe ramp once they get a good ignite rolling, but balance doesn’t, in fact their ramp is constantly interrupted because they have to blow a single target eclipse to get back to aoe. WoW Covenant has a good and interactive community, but their server lag during casting abilities and the talents tree can't work properly, along with a few quest bugs. The honest truth of it is the gameplay is solid, raids and dungeons are good, and it's pretty dang fun. I thought they had better, more distinct themes. I wasn’t really excited about the setting or the whole covenant concept, to me it felt unoriginally forced and something that doesn’t organically fit in with the game world and is essentially a cop-out to bring back “know” names. However, there's a lot of things to choose from and a lot of ways for Blizzard to add to the systems come later patches so I have high hopes that class gameplay will change a bunch over the course of shadowlands and I am looking forward to that. But it looks amazing to me. You can't go back and farm abilities that are going to be removed at the prepatch of the next expansion, but you can always go farm that old mount and transmog you never got around to in most cases.
